With a bit of luck, you get a few days to relax and regroup over the Christmas period. What do you do in your free time? The danger is that all too often we end up wasting time sucked into social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Whilst they have their place in our modern world, taking a break from them can be a good idea. If you can do away with not browsing the internet at all then I applaud you. However, if you find yourself in front of your screen, then I would like to offer something interesting to get your teeth in! Below is a small selection of sites that I check out often and find inspiring for one reason or another. Enjoy!
The Bojon Gourmet - OMG, I mention this site so often! This is a collection of super tasty and easy recipes from the most talented chef. The photos are beautiful too! I have tried and tested so many of recipes on this site and can confidently say that they are worth the time and effort (not too much :) Most of the recipes are gluten-free and many can easily be made vegan. Try them! I promise you will not regret it and might even turn into the bojon gourmet junkie like me!
To Be Magnetic - I have followed Lacy Phillips, the creator of this highly successful method, and the site for a few years now. I have done a few workshops with her too and they are worth a mention. It is all about manifestation! Whether you believe it or not, there is a universal law that influences the manifestation of our dreams and desires. I hope you have heard of the law of attraction - like attracts like, what you think you become etc. The To Be Magnetic method takes this concept to a whole new level and brings in neuroscience, psychology, epigenetics and energetics. It is based on raising your self-worth and authenticity and reprogramming your neural pathways using neuroplasticity theory. Worth a browse?
The Local Rose - This site is created and run by Shiva Rose. Shiva is an actress, activist and blogger. You will find her blog on the website - it is a collection of musings about well-being, beauty and health. Recently, Shiva had begun to run workshops and courses centred around female awakening, spirituality and lifestyle. She has a fascinating life story and I find her inspiring and uber-feminine!
